Overview

Freshbox spans three connected product areas: the customer experience, the farmer experience and the administrative system. The design-system work focused on creating a shared language that could help different teams design and build these surfaces more consistently.

My contribution

I focused on research, gathering requirements across teams and helping translate those needs into a design-system foundation that designers and developers could use together.

Research & system discovery

Approach

We initiated the process by convening a comprehensive meeting with team members from all three groups, encompassing both designers and developers. This facilitated a deeper understanding of their respective needs and allowed us to glean invaluable insights into what the design systems should encompass. Through this collaborative effort, we sought to better comprehend the unique requirements of each team and refine our approach to crafting a design system that seamlessly caters to both designers and developers.
